We wish to thank these fine musicians and teachers who have conducted us in the past: Betty Zuehlke Betty graduated with majors in Music and English Literature from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Reserve University. Anddid you knowshe started as a French Horn player. Over the years she has studied recorder here and abroad. In addition to teaching recorder classes in Fullerton, Riverside, San Diego, Costa Mesa, and Manhattan Beach, she teaches privately and is a frequent workshop instructor. OCRS was born out of her adult education recorder class over three decades ago! She has been a regular conductor and a major force in OCRS over the years. Thank you, Betty, for all you've done for OCRS. Claire Rottembourg Claire studied Early Music at the Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Paris, CNR, under the tutelage of Ariane Maurette and Musicology at the Sorbonne University. She holds degrees in Baroque and Renaissance woodwind instruments, performance, and music history. She currently performs with Les Folies, the Bach Collegium of San Diego, and Musica Poetica. She is on the faculty of Canto Antiguo Early Music Festival, San Diego Early Music Society, and the San Diego Recorder Society.
